Welcome to the Tanner-Mahan Foundation. As practicing dentists and dental consultants, we have spent our careers not only growing our own practices, but continuing to educate fellow dental practitioners. We work with students on techniques and management practices including patient care (arguably the most important aspect).

Over 1500 dentists and technicians have taken courses from the Tanner-Mahan Foundation. We passionately enjoy sharing with others our decades of experience as practicing dentists and dental consultants. Our passion for education and personal growth comes from within, but the spark that started it comes from our mentors, Henry Tanner and Parker Mahan.

Doctor Henry Tanner (1923-2003; D.D.S USC 1945 ) and Doctor Parker Mahan (D.D.S EU 1955; retired), created worldwide legacies of education and pioneering techniques over the last half of the past century in the field of dentistry, pain management and reconstruction. Prior to his retirement, Dr. Mahan provided internationally recognized lectures as a visiting faculty member at the L.D. Pankey Institute on head and neck anatomy at the Institute for Advance Dental Studies.

As members of the Board of Directors of the Tanner-Mahan Foundation, we consider ourselves fortunate to have enjoyed the personal associations with Henry Tanner, a man dedicated not only to his profession, but the professional and personal growth of his friends, family and colleagues as well. Parker Mahan is cut from the same cloth and provided unparalleled education to students and professionals alike.

The courses provided by the Tanner-Mahan Foundation are an extension of the teachings of Doctors Henry Tanner and Parker Mahan. It is an honor for us present the lessons we learned from our friends and mentors to help your professional and personal growth.
