All of the facilitators at Tanner-Mahan have provided numerous years of group and individual educational seminars that encompass
not only the teachings of Henry Tanner and Parker Mahan, but include their own personal experiences with dental practice management
and patient care. The facilitators are dedicated to not only preserving and presenting the philosophies of their mentors , but they are
passionate about education and passing along information to others to encourage growth both technically and personally.

Sandy Parrott, D.D.S., M.A.G.D.

Sandy Parrott is a dentist in Port Huron, Michigan who focuses his practice on restorative and esthetic dentistry.
He also has a keen interest in treating myofacial pain and tempormandibular disorders. He graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1967,
spent two years in the U.S. Army Dental Corps, and is a Vietnam veteran.
Dr. Parrott has obtained Mastership in AGD, studied extensively with Dr. Henry Tanner and conducted workshops with him. He was a member of the associate faculty
of the L. D. Pankey Institute for continuing dental education for 22 years. He has spoken at dental meetings and conducted workshops throughout the United States
involving practice administration and myofacial pain and tempormandibular joint diagnosis and treatment. He is active in many dental organizations and is a
founding member of the Pankey Institute Study Club of Michigan.
M. Franklin Dolwick, D.M.D. (not pictured)
M. Franklin Dolwick is a world renowned Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon specializing in
Temporomandibular Disorders. He was a pioneer in the development of TMJ arthrography
and surgical procedures for the treatment of TMJ internal derangement.
Dr. Dolwick received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky and his Ph.D. and certification in Oral
and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Medical College of Virginia. Formerly Chairman and Director
of Residency Education of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Florida, he currently
holds a full professorship.
Dr. Dolwick received the Research Recognition Award from the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Foundation in 1993
for his research on temporomandibular disorders. Dr. Dolwick has published over 60 papers and co-authored four books.
He continues to lecture throughout the US and abroad.
E.B. Whillock, D.D.S. (not pictured)

After graduating from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1965, Ed Whillock accepted a commission in the US
Public Health Service practicing dentistry at an Indian reservation hospital in South Dakota.
After four years of general practice, he completed the Graduate Program in Periodontology at the University of Minnesota
Dental School. Dr. Whillock has also served as the periodontal consultant for the Veterans Administration Hospitals at Fort Meade and
Hot Springs, South Dakota.
While maintaining his dental practice in Rapid City, South Dakota, Dr. Whillock continues to educate patients and other dentists.
He also finds time to enjoy hunting, hiking, skiing, camping and, of course, fishing.
